BMW Motorrad is taking bookings for its RR Experience test days at Sandown.

BMW Motorrad is taking final bookings for its RR Experience test ride session at Sandown Raceway on Friday, 9 August following an immensely-popular day out at Queensland Raceway.

The RR Experience allows riders to sample the performance of the flagship S 1000 RR, along with the K 1300 S, K 1300 R and R 1200 GS models, in a controlled track environment.

Former World Supersport Champion and MotoGP race winner Chris Vermeulen will be on hand at the test ride session to provide tips on bike setup, line selection and body position. Two-time Australian Superbike Champion, Next Gen Motorsports’ Glenn Allerton, is also scheduled to attend.

The RR Experience test ride sessions attract a small fee of $49 which includes one test ride session, light refreshments and a limited edition BMW RR Experience t-shirt.

Test ride sessions require participants to be fully-licensed and provide their own riding gear. Track marshals and medics will be on-site at the event.

Bookings for the Sandown event must be made prior to the event and can be completed online. No bookings will be taken on the day.
