Rewind: The 2013 WEC battle to date

Get up to speed with highlights of the first three rounds from Magny-Cours, Suzuka and Oschersleben.

The 2013 FIM World Endurance Championship (WEC) comes to a head at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend. The fourth and final chapter of the championship promises to be a thriller as competitors battle it out for event honours in both day and night.

For the full-time teams, the WEC crown is on the line. As it stands, the Suzuki Endurance Racing Team take a 13-point lead into the event, with Monster Energy Yamaha Austria running second, and Yamaha France GMT 94 11 points in arrears, placed third.

For this week’s Rewind feature we bring you up to speed with the first three rounds of the WEC at Magny-Cour, Suzuka and Oschersleben, before 60 entries go head-to-head at Circuit Bugatti this weekend.
