Link International and Pirelli have announced availability of Pirelli race tyres for the support race categories of the 2014 MotoGP at Phillip Island on 17-19 October.

For the Superbike class these Pirelli tyres include the Phillip Island-specific and MA-homologated Diablo Superbike SCX (R1633) rear used at the World Superbike round by international and domestic riders, and by Glenn Allerton to win the Australian Superbike Championship earlier this year.

In addition Pirelli will make available SC0 and SC1 rear compounds, as well as both SC1 and SC2 front compounds.

In the Supersport class, Pirelli will provided Diablo Supercorsa SC1 and SC2 front, while on the rear the latest SC0 rear tyre introduced this season alongside SC1 and SC2 compounds will be available to all riders.

All Pirelli tyres for the MotoGP support classes must be ordered by completing the MotoGP Support Race Tyre Order Form by class (Superbike/Supersport) available online here, with all tyre orders to be placed with Cykel Products in Victoria.

Tyres must be ordered prior to commencement of the race weekend and this ensures riders also receive special pricing for their Pirelli tyres for the event.
