The Halsall Suzuki team made their first on track appearance at Cartagena on Thursday as Josh Waters and Christian Iddon and completed laps in the final session of the opening day.

The team made the switch from Kawasaki to Suzuki during the winter and the test marked the debut appearances of the 2015 season for both Iddon and Waters.

“Everything is brand new on the bike so it was good to go out and turn some laps on it,” Waters said. “Even though I didn’t do any flying laps it was good.

“Hopefully I will sleep well tonight as I only landed from Australia last night and start the test from tomorrow. We got out in the last session and there was a little problem but no big deal so hopefully we can start from tomorrow.”

The pair were able to lap the circuit to complete their first installation laps ahead of their first full day on circuit tomorrow.
