YRD Supersport race one:
Michael Blair won a thrilling first Supersport race of the day, while Saturday sweeper Callum Spriggs was a non-finisher when he crashed at turn two on the opening lap. The top five were separated by just 0.742s, with Blair leading home Brayden Elliott, Mitch Levy, Troy Guenther and Jay Presepio. Points will be vital for Spriggs in the final two races as he goes against Blair as the favourites for this year’s series.

Ipone Superbike race one:
Aiden Wagner won the first official FX-ASC race of season 2015 to edge out teammate Troy Herfoss by 0.98s, while top Yamaha was Cru Halliday in third. After battling with the Hondas during the race Halliday slipped back to 3.478s back in the end, but was well ahead of defending champion teammate Wayne Maxwell, and fifth was Mike Jones. The top 10 was filled by Glenn Allerton, Sean Condon who recovered from a crash for seventh, Matthew Walters, Linden Magee and Beau Beaton.

YRD Supersport race two:
Spriggs bounced back in Supersport race two for his fourth win of the weekend, leading from the outset in a shining performance. Blair came through from a bad start and made his way to third, but his day came undone turn two on the final lap. That meant Spriggs won by 1.705s from Guenther, Elliott, Levy and Paul Young. Overall however it’s now Elliott who’s in front after two races, setting up an action-packed final race of the weekend later this afternoon.

YRD Supersport race three:
The final Supersport race of the round went to Spriggs by 0.809s over Blair – both of them finishing this one – but it was Elliott’s third that secured the Suzuki rider overall honours for the round and the series lead in the process. Guenther was also in the battle for the podium, eventually crossing the line fourth, with Young again fifth. The overall podium belonged to Elliott from Guenther and Levy, while Spriggs and Blair salvaged fourth and fifth for the round and in the standings.

Ipone Superbike race two:
Herfoss won the second Superbike race for the overall after a tight battle with Wagner, the pair splitting wins for the second day in a row in a dominant showing from Team Honda Racing. Behind them, Maxwell got the better of a late battle with Cru Halliday to secure the final position on the podium overall as well – a first for the brand new 2015 YZF-R1M. Allerton was fifth in an improved showing, as Condon and Jones were close in tow. Completing the top 10 was Magee, Ben Burke and Walters.
