Halsall Suzuki has today announced leading motorcycle insurance specialist Bennetts as its title sponsor for the 2015 MCE British Superbike Championship.

The tie up between Halsall Racing and Bennetts makes for a highly ambitious partnership, working towards British Superbike success in the coming years for the new Bennetts Suzuki team.

“We’re delighted to have Bennetts on board as a title sponsor for the British Superbike Championship,” team owner Martin Halsall said. “They bring a wealth of experience with them having been involved in the series for the last decade.

“I see ourselves as an emerging force in British Superbikes with huge ambition to become an established and successful team, and this is recognised by everyone at Bennetts, who share the same ambition. This makes for the start of an exciting and rewarding partnership together and we can’t wait to get going.”

Vince Chaney, Bennetts’ managing director, commented: “This is an exciting time for Bennetts and we are delighted to enter this partnership with the Halsall Suzuki team. The Bennetts name is synonymous with the British Superbike Championship and it was important that we came back to the series with a squad that shares our high standards and big ambitions.

“We’ve known Jack Valentine, team manager, for many years and he and Martin Halsall have put together a very good set up. They have ambitious plans for the team and this has been recognised by both us and Suzuki GB, who has appointed them as their official squad.

“We’re looking forward to a long and successful relationship, working together to turn Bennetts Suzuki into a title challenging team in the coming years.”

Bennetts is an award-winning insurance provider that insures over 200,000 motorcyclists in the UK, working to ensure customers receive the best possible price for their insurance requirements.

Team riders Josh Waters and Christian Iddon will take to the track for the first time in the new Bennetts Suzuki livery in the first free practice session at the opening round of the 2015 British Superbike Championship, which takes place at Donington Park from 4-6 April.
