Broc Parkes has been confirmed for the 2015 Suzuka 8 Hours round of the FIM Endurance World Championship after agreeing to terms with the Monster Energy Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART).

Parkes will replace injured German Max Neukirchner on board the factory-supported Yamaha YZF-R1, expected to race alongside Ivan Silva and Sheridan Morais on 24-26 July.

Last year at Suzuka, Parkes placed fourth alongside fellow Australian Josh Brookes and Katsuyuki Nakasuga with the Monster Energy Yamaha with YSP team, which was associated with the YART outfit.

Yamaha’s number one team in 2015 will feature Japanese Superbike ace Nakasuga alongside MotoGP regulars Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaro.
