Athinà Forward Racing’s Stefan Bradl underwent a successful surgery on his fractured right scaphoid this week following a fall at Assen’s MotoGP round last weekend.

The German was operated on in his hometown of Augsburg by hand specialist Dr. Stefan Krischak, deemed a success as he was discharged from hospital on Tuesday.

Bradl is due to undergo further examinations to assess his recovery this week, however he and the team plan to try and enter FP1 at the German grand prix next weekend.
