Kawasaki display takes off at 2015 Sydney Motorcycle Show

Kawasaki Motors Australia press release:

Kawasaki enthusiasts were given the chance to touch and feel the latest Kawasaki motorcycles including the all new, highly evolved Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, at the 2015 Sydney Motorcycle Show over the weekend.

Motorcycle devotees from far and wide streamed into the Sydney Olympic Park Showgrounds for a chance to savour their favourite Kawasaki motorcycles. Naturally, the vast array of learner friendly Kawasaki motorcycles were popular amongst prospective motorcyclists and the highly acclaimed off-road models including the lighter, faster and slimmer 2016 KX450F, were a favourite amongst motorcrossers and trail riders alike.

Being able to touch and feel the world’s first supercharged production motorcycle, the Kawasaki Ninja H2, was a highlight for many while the opportunity to throw a leg over one of only twenty Kawasaki Ninja H2R’s in Australia, was a once-in-a-lifetime chance for most.

The 2016 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R stole the show. Unveiled for the first time in Australia at the show, the mighty Ninja boasts components that were developed from direct feedback given by the World Superbike championship winning Kawasaki Racing Team.

Used for the first time on a production motorcycle, the World Superbike spec fork was developed exclusively between the Kawasaki Racing Team and Showa. Larger, 330mm front disks and Brembo M50 monobloc callipers provide mind-blowing stopping force while a crank that spins up 20% faster makes for a quicker revving engine.

A Kawasaki Quick Shifter comes standard while a game changing Bosh Inertial Measurement Unit combines with advanced rider aids to facilitate for next level rider control. This machine is the closest thing to a Superbike that Kawasaki has yet to offer.

Kawasaki Motors Australia ran a #NinjaRaceFace competition where entrants were required to take a photo of themselves aboard the ground-breaking 2016 Ninja ZX-10R while they were pulling their best ‘race face’.

A swift upload through their social media accounts with the #NinjaRaceFace hashtag saw them in the running to win one of 3 prize packs including a Kawasaki Racing Team replica shirt signed by Tom Sykes and various other Kawasaki goodies. Winners will be announced on 30th November through our Facebook page.

The 2015 Sydney Motorcycle Show marked another successful event for Kawasaki Motors Australia and we wish to thank all of the valued enthusiasts who attended over the weekend.
