ASBK tyre test scheduled for Winton next month

Motorcycling Australia (MA) will host an Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) tyre test day at Winton Motor Raceway on Tuesday, 15 March 2016.

The Winton Motor Raceway has undergone resurfacing and the ASBK tyre test will provide competitors with an opportunity to test the new surface prior to round six of the ASBK scheduled for 30 September-2 October.

The tyre test will be open to ASBK competitors from all national classes – Superbike, Supersport, Moto3/125GP and Production. It is anticipated that there will be a minimum of 5 x 30 minute sessions throughout the day (subject to participant numbers).

Dunlop and Pirelli representatives will be in attendance throughout the day. Additional tyre manufacturer representative attendance will be advised as they are confirmed.

Entry fees (click here for further details) will be $150 per participant inclusive of garage/carport, medical service, MA personal accident insurance. Entries will remain open until Tuesday, 1 March.
