Australian veteran Anthony West will make his second-straight World Superbike Championship start when he continues with the privateer Pedercini Kawasaki squad at Donington Park.

West, a multiple Moto2 and WorldSSP race winner, was planning to compete at Donington in World Supersport, but another overture from Pedercini will see him competing against all the top brass again.

Only last week, West was testing a Moto2 machine in the Czech Republic as his ‘journeyman’ year continues, but another top 10 performance at Donington will almost certainly have him on the radar of a number of WorldSBK teams for 2017.

West starred on debut with Pedercini Kawasaki last time out at Sepang in Malaysia deputising for injured Frenchman Sylvain Barrier, scoring superb ninth and fifth place finishes despite only riding the ZX-10R for the first time in Friday practice.
