Teenager Remy Gardner will line up in the upcoming rounds of the 2016 Moto2 World Championship after terminating his agreement with the Race Experience FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 team.

Gardner scored points in his Moto2 debut at Catalunya with the Scuderia Tasca GP Racing team, securing him a position with the team for the Assen and Sachsenring rounds.

Despite winning a race at the Barcelona CEV round, he will no longer contest the FIM CEV Repsol Championship as he looks to put in place a fulltime return for the rest of the season to the world championship paddock.

With backing from GP Legends, the current situation will see him in Moto2 for two races and it is hoped that sufficient funding can be found to allow the talented Australian to complete the 2016 season with the Scuderia Tasca GP team.
