To celebrate the maiden MotoGP victory of Australia’s Jack Miller at Assen on Sunday, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation is offering motorsport fans a special ticket offer for the Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix on 21-23 October.

Race-goers looking to attend the iconic Phillip Island event will receive discounted prices on all General Admission tickets across the event weekend if they purchase online before 31 July 2016.

“Jack Miller is an incredible young talent and this maiden victory caps off a remarkable 18 months which has seen him transition from Moto3 to now rising to the top in the MotoGP division for Honda,” said Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO Andrew Westacott.

“On behalf of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, we would like to congratulate Jack and his family on this incredible achievement and trust this will inspire fans to snap up our ticket offer and head to Philip Island in October to soak up everything that the event has to offer.”

Former five-time world motorcycle champion, Mick Doohan, echoed Westacott’s sentiments: “It is fantastic to see all of Jack’s hard work finally paying off. Miller is most certainly an incredible talent and we can’t wait to see him return to Australia in October.”

Following Miller’s win in Assen, ticket sales for the Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2016 immediately lifted by 23 percent when compared to the previous race weekend in Catalunya, proving that support for the Townsville youngster is at an all-time high.

There are 114 days to go until riders take to track at the Michelin® Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2016. For more information and to purchase tickets please visit www.motogp.com.au.
