Team MV Agusta Reparto Corse has confirmed Leon Camier will continue with the team in the 2017 Motul Superbike World Championship.

Camier has had a decent season to date aboard the factory F4, currently eighth in the standings after scoring seven top-five results.

“Iā€™m really happy to sign again for season 2017,” Camier said. “For me I believe in this project 100 percent and I sincerely feel the bike has an even higher potential and for me this is a strong point.

“For sure we have to work hard over the winter, but I have a very good feeling with the bike and I am sure next year we will get some really positive results for MV Agusta.”

MV Agusta Reparto Corse team principal Andrea Quadranti added: “We are very pleased to have reached an agreement with Leon, in order to give continuity to our collaboration.

“We are definitely pleased to have him in Team MV Agusta Reparto Corse also for the next year, given the excellent results we achieved together and the great professionalism Leon showed us this season.”
