More mixed weather intruded the Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix during FP4 this afternoon, prompting another red flag mid-session, but it was American Nicky Hayden who logged the quickest lap prior to the rainfall.

Upon return to MotoGP with Repsol Honda, 2006 world champion Hayden posted a 1m36.810s to lead the session by over three seconds from teammate Marc Marquez, while Aleix Espargaro (Team Suzuki ECSTAR) completed the top three.

Australia’s Jack Miller (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Honda) maintained his strong form this weekend in fifth, behind Loris Baz on the Avintia Ducati, while his local teammate Mike Jones ended the final practice in 17th.
