Agro On-Benjan Kawasaki has signed Australian Glenn Scott for the 2017 European Superstock 1000 Cup alongside Toni Finsterbusch and Wayne Tessels aboard the brand new Ninja ZX-10RR.

The move is a lifeline of sorts for 24-year-old Scott’s international career after spending two seasons in World Supersport. He missed much of 2016 due to complications of a compound fracture to his left tibia and a fracture to his left fibula.

“I am excited to have signed with Agro On-Benjan-Kawasaki for the 2017 season,” Scott said. “They are a professional, passionate and determined team which suits me perfectly. I think we will have a great season together working towards solid results throughout the season. The 1000cc championship will be a new experience for me stepping from Supersport, but I am ready for the challenge ahead.”

Agro On-Benjan Kawasaki team manager Rob Vennegoor said: “We are excited to welcome Glenn and Toni in our team and we are sure that both can do well, together with Wayne. Riding a 1000cc Kawasaki ZX-10RR will be a new experience for Glenn, but I’m sure he will learn fast!”

Scott has previous 1000cc experience to his credit, finishing 10th in the 2014 Australasian Superbike Championship standings with a series of strong finishes against the factory contingent that season.
