MV Agusta Australia has announced that it will enter the 2017 YMF Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK), with Chas Hern set to debut the F4 RC at Phillip Island.

Alongside the Superbike World Championship opener on 24-26 February, Hern will race the replica machine of factory WorldSBK racer Leon Camier.

Aboard one of just 250 F4 RCs hand-built in the Varese factory, 34-year-old Hern will be the first to race the Italian marque’s finest superbike in Australia.

The MV Agusta Australia entry of Hern will be backed by Urban Motor Finance, Pirelli, Motul and Chas Hern Racing. Fans will also be able to get up-close with the MV Agusta range in the expo hall throughout the WorldSBK weekend.
