Superbike predictions
First:
Troy Herfoss – This is one of those ‘must-win’ rounds on the calendar for the defending champion, still aboard the nimble CBR1000RR SP that he won the title on last year and we’ve seen how quick he is at Wakefield in years past. It won’t be easy by any means though, so expect some of the tightest action we witness all year.
Second:
Daniel Falzon – Coming off of three race wins at Phillip Island, there’s no reason why the current points leader won’t be among the front-runners once again. He will have to bring something special to top Herfoss at home and beat so many talented riders, but it’s not out of the question.
Third:
Wayne Maxwell – We’d possibly have Maxwell even further up the field considering his race two performance there last year, but right now we don’t know what tyres Yamaha is using. They have tested on Dunlop and Pirelli at the circuit, so we will wait and see what they roll out on tomorrow. Same goes with teammate Allerton.
Watch for:
Glenn Allerton, Bryan Staring, Josh Waters, Robbie Bugden, Cru Halliday
