The late Andrew McFarlane's factory KTM 450SX-F has been stolen from MX World in Queensland this week.

The JDR Motorex KTM 450 SX-F of the late Andrew McFarlane has been stolen from MX World in Queensland on Friday morning, with the McFarlane family desperate for the bike to be returned.

McFarlane was tragically killed at Broadford’s third round of the 2010 Rockstar Energy MX Nationals, his race bike given to the McFarlane family with great sentimental value.

A letter from McFarlane’s brother Cameron, the director of MX World, has pleaded for the return of the motorcycle, estimated to be worth $15,000-$18,000.

The robbery was said to take place at 1:44am on 20 August at MX World in Capalaba, with thieves also stealing riding gear along with the race bike, complete with McFarlane’s factory JDR Motorex KTM graphics and customary number seven plate.

Contact MX World at 07 3823 2244 if you have any details regarding the motorcycle.
