ASBK champion Bryan Staring made his Superstock debut in Europe at Misano recently.
It’s been revealed that Australian Superbike Champion Bryan Staring will contest the Italian domestic championship alongside his European Superstock duties in 2011 for Pedercini Kawasaki.
Pedercini Kawasaki team boss Lucio Pedercini has given his team’s two-day test at Misano in Italy a positive ranking as Staring prepares for his rookie Superstock 1000 FIM Cup season.
“We are quite happy with this two days of test. The weather didn’t help us but we were able to work on the bikes as for our schedule and to continue to develop our new Ninja ZX-10R,” Pedercini explained.
“We brought some new stuff and most of the components are working well. All our riders performed very well and we are satisfied. Now we can go home to get everything ready for the first race of the Italian Championship.
“We are determined to obtain good results both in Superstock and Superbike Italian Championships. Our Superstock riders are the same as for the European Championship. All our staff is strongly motivated to reach the best possible result.”
The Italian championship will kick off at Misano on 10 April, before Staring’s FIM Cup season will commence at Assen in the Netherlands on 17 April alongside round three of World Superbike.
