Round two of the Viking Group Australian Superbike Championship will be aired on SPEED this weekend, featuring coverage of the Symmons Plains round.
The round will first be aired on Saturday, 2 April at 4.00-6.00pm, as well as Sunday, April 3 at 11.00am-1.00pm and again later that evening from 10.30pm-12.30am.
It was also confirmed last week that AUSTAR subscribers now have access to the popular SPEED and SPEED HD channels, widening the audience for the Viking Group Australian Superbike Championship telecasts.
The channels will be added to AUSTAR’s Sports option at no extra cost to subscribers.
The eagerly-anticipated move will ensure even more motorsport fans are able to witness the wheel-to-wheel action of the country’s top road race categories.
All eight rounds of the 2011 championships will be screened on SPEED this year, with first-run telecasts to be supported by replays in the days following on both AUSTAR and FOXTEL.
This week also marks the launch of SPEED News Australia at 7.00pm on Wednesdays. The half-hour show will feature local and international news plus biggest the names in motorsport in the studio.
