Despite the gloomy weather, HART’s first of three CBR250R Come and Try It Days was a huge success with more than 150 riders young and old converging on the Somerton location on Saturday.
Hitting the Australian shores only days before the HART Come and Try It Day, riders were keen to throw a leg over the new release and from all reports the CBR250R delivered on its promises.
With the appeal of riders learner to advanced, the CBR250R was well received by all.
“I have been holding out to have a ride on the new CBR250R and I was impressed, it is such a great idea to have a chance to test ride the bike before actually buying it,” commented one keen rider.
“What a great ride, it has everything you need for your first bike,” added another.
Qualified HART instructors took groups of riders out on 20-minute test rides on the road to allow them to experience the thrill of the new sports bike.
Honda’s CBR250R is new for 2011 and unites the inherent virtues of a 250cc machine with the timeless CBR qualities of high performance, intuitive handling dynamics and unrivalled ease of use.
The model is compact in size, incredibly versatile and unbeatable in fuel efficiency; in short an unrivalled entry level package.
Also available on the day were opportunities for non-riders to experience riding during a guided 90-minute free try it session on a HART range. This proved the perfect way to experience the thrill of motorcycle riding with the safety of a qualified instructor nearby.
HART is holding two more Come and Try It Days on the all-new Honda CBR250R, the next being held at HART St Ives on 9 April and the third at HART Brisbane on 16 April.
