Aussie Casey Stoner will be one to watch this weekend as MotoGP enters the Le Mans round.
Australia’s MotoGP hope Casey Stoner believes his switch to Honda will boost his chances for victory at this weekend’s fourth round of the MotoGP World Championship at Le Mans in France.
Repsol Honda standout Stoner said this week that he was content with third at Estoril’s recent Grand Prix of Portugal, now setting his sights on Le Mans this weekend.
“In Estoril I was very happy to retain third and keep some valuable points for the championship,” We’ve always had some reasonable results in LeMans but never really quite good enough.
“The practice sessions will be important to get the set up of the bike just right, and I feel the Honda should work well there so I’m looking forward to it”.
Entering the weekend’s GP, Stoner currently sits in third position in the series despite his controversial crash with Valentino Rossi at Jerez last month.
