Spaniard endures difficulties with fractured left wrist in practice.
Ducati Team’s Jorge Lorenzo has withdrawn from this weekend’s Japanese grand prix at Twin Ring Motegi after experiencing difficulties with his injured left wrist.
The Spaniard revealed earlier this week that he would attempt to line up after evaluating his condition in the opening free practice session, however he pulled in after a single lap.
Lorenzo suffered a fracture to his left wrist at the previous round in Thailand following a heavy fall in practice that subsequently ruled him out of the weekend, which came just after enduring a broken toe at Aragon.
The untimely injury could mean the multi-time MotoGP world champion will have to sit on the sidelines for more rounds, with back to back stops scheduled next week at Phillip Island in Australia followed by the Malaysian grand prix one week later.
