2015 BMW S 1000 RR: More power, better handling.
BMW has announced preliminary details on the next generation S 1000 RR (current model displayed), to be released at Intermot in Cologne from 1-5 October.
Though the details are light on specifics, the new S 1000 RR gets an “optimised engine for enhanced performance and ridability”, says BMW.
More power and the next generation of Bosch’s ABS system that the S 1000 RR debuted in 2009 are the what are expected in this regard.
Along with a facelift to the bike’s styling, a chassis updated is coming too: “A new suspension geometry provides increased riding precision and even better handling”.
The 2015 BMW S 1000 RR is to be unveiled alongside two other models from BMW with one of those expected to be the S1000RR-engined adventure-tourer.
Stay tuned for the full details on the new machine in just over two weeks time.
