Australasian Superbike Championship organisers have announced that IPONE will return as the premier Superbike class naming rights partner once again in 2016.

The IPONE-backed Superbike ranks will span over six rounds this season, set to commence at Sydney Motorsport Park in New South Wales on 11-12 March.

“It is great news that IPONE Oils were keen to stay on as the premier class naming rights sponsor and we are very pleased to have them back in that roll, we believe it is a very good fit for both the series and Ipone,” Terry O’Neill explained.

“IPONE oils is fast becoming the most well known brand of motorcycle oil in Australia which, in part, is happening because of the massive TV exposure the FX-ASC series receives nationally on both free to air and pay tv, as well as free live streaming on the day.

“This great coverage gives us the opportunity to provide the best promotional tools available to all of our stakeholders from privateer racers through to our major sponsors like IPONE.”

Ficeda general manager Matt Dowd said it was a natural choice to remain as the title sponsor of the Superbike category: “After arguably the best year of superbike racing of the last decade, we are pleased to continue our association with Australia’s premier racing class.

“IPONE is a leader in motorcycle lubricants, a long running partnership with the MotoGP Rookies Cup helps support international future champions and our association with the FX-ASC allows IPONE to support Australian Champions of today.”
