Reigning Australian Supersport Champion Brayden Elliott will make his international debut this weekend when he contests this weekend’s third round of MotoAmerica at New Jersey Motorsports Park, 29 April-1 May.

Elliott has been campaigning a privateer Suzuki GSX-R1000 in the Australian Superbike Championship this season, but departed for the US yesterday following an 11th-hour opportunity to race MotoAmerica.

The invitation came from countryman David Anthony, who operates the ADR Motorsports/Fly Racing team using Yamaha machinery alongside his own racing schedule as part of the Latus Motors Racing Kawasaki outfit.

Like Anthony, Elliott will participate in the Superstock 1000 ranks of MotoAmerica, which is held within the premier Superbike championship currently led by Yoshimura Suzuki’s Roger Hayden following the Circuit of the Americas and Road Atlanta rounds.
