Australian rising talent Remy Gardner will stay put with Tech3 Racing for the 2018 Moto2 World Championship after confirming his future over the weekend at Aragon.

Gardner, 19, has found a home in the middle tier of the world championship with the French organisation operated by Herve Poncharal and will spend a second term there next season.

“I am super-stoked and really happy to be able to continue working with the Tech3 Moto2 Racing Team next year,” Gardner said. “After breaking my leg earlier in the year we have started to make progress and I am confident of what we can achieve not only for the rest of the season, but in 2018 when I am totally injury free.”

Despite being bumped off track and going in the wrong direction with his Mistral 610 bike set-up on Sunday in Spain, Gardner managed to salvage 20th position. Despite scoring no points on the weekend, Gardner’s 19th in the standings.
