MotoGP: Get up close with Honda's GP riders at Phillip Island

HONDA AUSTRALIA:

One of the most highly anticipated events on the Phillip Island MotoGP calendar is Honda’s “Champions Dinner”, a night out like no other where fans can fulfil their ultimate dream of meeting international team riders in person.

Fresh off winning a MotoGP each, Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso will both be in attendance at the dinner, posing for photographs with fans and participating in interviews conducted by well known motorsports broadcaster Leigh Diffey and former Honda 500cc Grand Prix rider Daryl Beattie.

The event will also feature LCR Honda’s Randy De Puniet, San Carlos Honda’s Toni Elias and Alex De Angelis plus rookie Yuki Takahashi.

According to HRCA Manager Rhys Griffiths, tickets for the event are selling quickly.

“With the Honda riders doing so well at recent rounds, the fans are really looking forward to getting the chance to meet these guys and find out what makes them tick.”

“Our dinner guests get the benefit of the riders being in their ‘pre race’ mode which means they are typically very relaxed and happy to chat before qualifying on Saturday. The food is fantastic at this venue as well so it should be a great night!”

A few places are still available for the Dinner to be held on Friday, October 16th at Infused located in downtown Cowes, just a short drive from the circuit.

Cost is $140 per head for a three course dinner with drinks available at bar prices.
