MotoGP: Places selling quickly for Honda's Island hospitality

HONDA AUSTRALIA:

As the hottest date on the international racing calendar at Phillip Island nears, tickets for Honda’s Corporate Hospitality facility at the Australian MotoGP are selling out quickly.

This year, more than ever, Honda fans will want to take advantage of the chance to see their sporting heros from the best place on the track, positioned directly in front of the start line on Gardner Straight just before turn one.

With both Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso having recently won a GP race, the Phillip Island round is destined to be a nail biter for anyone who follows the Repsol Honda riders.

The Honda Riders Club of Australia (HRCA) is hosting the event trackside from October 16-18, 2009, which includes entry to the circuit, morning tea, buffet lunch and afternoon tea, plus cloak room facilities and grandstand seating for each of the three days of the event.

The $775 package also includes live circuit tv screening all the action as it happens, pit walks and a free Honda jacket. Soft drinks are free and bar drinks are also available for purchase.

HRCA Manager Rhys Griffiths said they are looking forward to a fantastic event for 2009.

“It has been an exciting season for Honda so far this year. In addition to the Repsol Honda boys, there will be a number of other teams out there flying the flag for us, meaning the action will be second to none.”

“Phillip Island provides some of the most spectacular racing of any circuit on the calendar and having the ability to watch the action with like-minded people, whilst enjoying fantastic food and drink, makes for a one-of-a-kind weekend away.”

Bookings are strictly limited this year, so fans are urged to get in quickly before the facility sells out.
