General: Champion’s Ride Days and RRPA announce partnership

CHAMPION’S RIDE DAYS PRESENTS ALEX GOBERT’S RRPA:

Champion’s Ride Days and Alex Gobert’s Road Race Performance Academy are pleased to announce a partnership that will see the companies join forces in a bid to raise the level in Australian motorcycle rider training with over 100 events available nationwide per year.

The pair have formed an alliance that will see Champion’s Ride Days presenting the RRPA program at all of its track days nationwide beginning on 1 September, offering riders around the country consistent courses to improve their riding under the instruction of Motorcycling Australia accredited coaches.

With the added events increasing the availability of the popular RRPA courses throughout the country, Gobert and his team have separated the program into three separate levels, effectively requiring participants to take part in all three in order to receive the ultimate training program developed and conducted exclusively in Australia.

The innovative program will be available at all Champion’s Ride Days for just $150.00 per level on top of the track day entry fee for each particular event, taking over from Champion’s proven Track Day Tuition program.

Following in the lead of the TDT program, all RRPA coaching will be conducted within the ride day groups, meaning that participants get to take part in the ride day with their very own coach on hand going through the program in a personalised structure throughout each of the three levels.

The three levels to be available at all Champion’s Ride Days will be as follows:

Level 1 – The Foundations
Every rider in the world has to start somewhere, with the foundations of your riding technique proving vital as you gain experience both on the track and in the real world. In Level 1 we take an in-depth look at preparation for riding, setting goals, track etiquette, braking, shifting, and throttle control. Also gain a preview into the next level with a base guide for body position, key vision points and more.

Level 2 – Style Moulding
Build on your skills learned and step up to the next level, with Level 2 offering personalised tuition to help mould your style into the perfect option for you. Our coaches work with you to refine your body position, teach the effects of counter steering, assist your vision by helping you source reference points, focus on line selection and also offer bike set-up and suspension tips. Cap off the day with a detailed feedback session to see where you can continue to improve.

Level 3 – Personalised Package
After you have completed the first two steps, chances are that you’ll feel more comfortable with some techniques than others, and that’s why we have created Level 3 to offer a program dedicated to your particular needs. This level is all about what you want and need, whether it is any of the topics taught in the opening two levels, or even a more thorough racing program if you’re looking to hit the race track. Your wish is our command.

Alex Gobert:
“We have been working on this partnership for quite some time now, so for it to finally be announced is a great achievement for all involved and I’m excited to see the results we can extract from riders around Australia with the stepped program split into three in-depth levels of training.

“Since launching RRPA last year we have had an intense learning process that has prepared us well for our alliance with Champion’s Ride Days, essentially allowing my team of coaches and I to focus on the tuition now while the event is run to the high quality that Champion’s is recognised for.

“The best thing for RRPA is that we will have many events to offer the structured program in three different stages now, saving us from having to try and fit it all in over one day as we did before. I’m confident that the personalised side of this new program is going to raise rider training to new levels and I can’t wait to get it started.”

Scott Osborne:
“At Champion’s Ride Days we have always prided ourselves on safe and professional track events. With 10 years offering track days and tuition options we felt everyone should have the opportunity to up-skill, enhance and develop their riding on any Champion’s Ride Days calendar event.

“Partnering with RRPA will enable riders to maximise their riding skills on the track and the road, making them a safer rider, completed within the professional framework of the staged learning program.

“Offering choice and flexibility across Australia, we are always looking to continually offer new and beneficial options to our loyal and wonderful customer base. We hope they enjoy it!”
