FMX: Cam Sinclair honored with star in his local community

Victorian Freestyle Motocross legend and world record holder Cam ‘Sincs’ Sinclair has been honored by his local community with his very own star on the “Star Zone Karingal Walk of Fame.”

The Walk of Fame is an initiative developed by Centro Properties Group, one of Australia’s largest property holder, with shopping centers nationally; to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of ordinary people who have helped the local community.

Sinclair appeared personally for the unveiling of the star and to sign autographs for local fans.

“This is something I never expected. To get my very own star in the pavement in my local area is really cool; I really appreciate people in the community voting for me!” Cam Sinclair said.

Since recovering from a near fatal accident in July, Sinclair’s recovery is going to plan; the 25 year old has expectations to ride again early in 2010.

“I can’t wait to get out on my bike again. It’s what I’ve done ever since I was five years old; I love riding and more than anything I want an X Games medal next year.” Sinclair said.
