Racers Edge Performance will compete in the 2010 Australian Superbike Championship in an all-new team featuring Victorian Scott Charlton on a Phil Tainton Racing prepared GSX-R1000.

Racers Edge is Australia’s premier race fairing manufacturer has established a Superbike team with Charlton for the new season, dedicated to support the ASBK in 2010.

The current season has been a tough, but encouraging, year for the ASBK and next year is shaping up to be an even stronger year for the sports premier series as it teams up with V8 Supercars for four rounds during the season.

Racers Edge Performance has committed to every round of the 2010 Championship competing as privateers with the aim of shaking up the championship.

Charlton has teamed up with Racers Edge Performance to pilot the Phil Tainton Racing tuned GSXR 1000 Suzuki. Scott has extensive racing experience in both Superbike and Supersport categories, competing as a factory Kawasaki rider in the 2008 season.

The racing experience of the staff at Racers Edge Performance is quite extensive and not confined to just motorcycle racing. Team principle, Greg Maher has worked with many high profile racing teams and has over 20 years experience in 4 forms of motorcycling, V8 Supercars and national level open wheel race cars.

Racers Edge Performance believe that with all the experience, professionalism and dedication of the team combined that they have the recipe for success.
