General: More Honda Dollars announced with CB1000R

Honda’s highly acclaimed naked sports motorcycle, the CB1000R, is now available with $1000 Honda Dollars.

Honda Dollars can be used in the dealership at the time of the transaction on a wide variety of accessories such as helmet, gloves and jacket, for servicing or as a credit toward the bike purchased.

The CB1000R features an unmistakable, unique design that immediately grabs attention with its compact and muscular form that carries the punch of a full-blooded litre class motorcycle.

Its short, slim tail cowl and brawny fuel tank convey an image of edgy street performance whilst its mechanical parts including magnesium head, nickel-plated Allen-head bolts and ACG covers exude a high-tech look.

The CB1000R’s compact yet powerful Fireblade inspired 998cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine has been tuned for maximised low-to-midrange performance, as well as for stronger, more exciting power that extends further up the powerband.

Its angular-looking, semi-underslung stainless steel exhaust system lowers centre of gravity for lighter, more responsive handling and an exhilarating sound.

The CB1000R comes in two versions – Standard (MSRP $18,190 and ABS $19,190 plus on road costs).

The Honda Dollars deal is valid from now until 31 March 2010.
