Oz RR: Young gun Demmery to remain in Gimoto for 2010

Brandon Demmery Racing and GIMOTO.NET.AU have announced that the up and coming Junior road racer will again wear Gimoto leathers on track in 2010.

“Brandon wore Gimoto in 2009 after some serious research to find a company that would make a set of custom made, kangaroo hide leathers small enough for Brando to wear,” said team manager Michael Demmery. “We were very impressed with the Gimoto brand, and especially the service we received from Rory and the team at GIMOTO.NET.AU. Brandon found the leathers comfortable, and they fit exactly as they should. The original set were designed and made just for Brandon, and they looked sensational.”

Demmery, who has demonstrated his talent on numerous occasions in his young career, will form part of the Trinder Brothers Racing Junior Development Team this year, excited to be back again with Gimoto.

“The Gimoto leathers I wore last year were awesome, they looked great, and they saved me when I managed to throw the bike away a few times,” Brandon added. “I had a big crash at Broadford in the last round of the year, and the Gimoto’s saved me from losing heaps of skin. The kangaroo hide is so thin, super light and strong!”

GIMOTO.NET.AU representative Rory Panetta is also pleased to retain Brandon on the team.

“At Gimoto, we always try to assist young racers starting their long term career goals,” Panetta explained. “After working with Brandon in 2009, we saw the potential in him, as well as his approach to achieving his personal and racing goals – he is a great and dedicated racer, well mannered, polite and professional in his approach even at this young age. He is a credit to his parents and his team support network.”

The final design is being confirmed at this stage, to be designed in the blue and white colours that the TBR senior team will field in 2010.
