Oz MX: Solid line-up of sponsors for NSW Motocross title

Motorcycling New South Wales has announced that the naming rights sponsor for the 2010 NSW Motocross Championships will be existing series sponsor, The Helmet Warehouse, accompanied by new series presenting sponsor High Roller Energy.

With just over two weeks until the start of NSW’s premier MX series in Woollongong, the 2010 NSW MX Championships is set to be one of the biggest on record, and with the help of both The Helmet Warehouse and High Roller Energy, the atmosphere at this year’s event will be fun for all.

The Helmet Warehouse, dubbed as ‘Australia’s number one helmet and accessory discounter’, is a leading supplier of Helmets, gear and accessories to Australian riders. Boasting the largest range of Shoei and AGV helmets in Australia, The Helmet Warehouse also offer a fully licenced workshop facility.

THW has supported the NSW MX Championships for the past two years and with the series going from strength to strength, THW director Sinisha Gavranov is excited about helping direct the sport of Motocross in 2010.

“We’ve been involved with the NSW Motocross Championships for two years now and have really seen the series grow substantially. So, when the opportunity arose to get behind the championship on this level, we saw it as a prime chance to help further grassroots motocross and nurture up-and-coming talents – as well as promote and enjoy the talents of some of the countries premier senior riders,” Gavranov said.

“We hope that our investment and input can continue to raise the profile of the sport locally, as well as to the everyday family whom otherwise might be aware of the fun and exciting that exists in all forms of motorcycle sport – especially motocross. We are really excited to be a part of the series and can’t wait for things to get underway in April.”

Joining The Helmet Warehouse to promote this year’s series is Australian owned and rapidly expanding energy drink company, High Roller Energy.

Based locally on the Central Coast, High Roller Energy burst onto the scene two-years-ago and withstood the onslaught of many other come-and-go energy drink companies to stand out above the pack, and continue to grow in today’s market.

High Roller’s slogan is “This is how we roll”, so it’s fitting that company founder and director Daniel McKenzie has been involved in the motocross industry for most of his life and is a keen rider himself, making his contribution to the series a valuable one.

“Everyone at High Roller HQ race at either a Club or National level. We have been involved with the sport for over 21-years and it’s the motorcycle industry that has helped us grow as a company, so in turn, High Roller would like to support the people that support us,” said McKenzie.

“We are really pleased to be involved with the 2010 NSW MX Championship, seeing the growth of the series over the past couple of years, and hopefully, together we can see it grow even further.”

Both companies will have a large presence at every round of the year’s championship, including The Helmet Warehouse being on deck to supply rider needs and accessories, whilst High Roller Energy will have samples, girls and more for everyone to checkout.

Motorcycling NSW is extremely pleased to have both companies on board for 2010 and believes that the valued input and help from both companies respectively will be a great asset to the series and motocross in general.

The 2010 The Helmet Warehouse NSW Motocross Championships, powered by High Roller kicks-off in Woollongong for round one on 3-5 April, before stopping at Port Macquarie for round two on 12-14 June. Lakes will play host the series finale on 9-11 July.
