The producers of the revolutionary Crusty Demons Thirst 4 Destruction Tour have today confirmed Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena will host a second show on Friday 29 October.

The Crusty Demons Thirst 4 Destruction tour, presented by Woodstock Bourbon, kicks off in Perth on 16 October and will showcase a never before seen action sports spectacular, with one of the very best rider line-ups ever featured in this country.

This awesome new show will see the Crusty Demons return to dirt, with around 1000 tonnes of dirt to form the all-new interactive arena which will also feature two giant gangways allowing for cross-over trick-runs, the longest jumps ever seen in Australian arenas and even a never before attempted ceiling drop-in by global FMX star Robbie Maddison.

Cutting-edge pyrotechnics will fire around 2000 shots from over 20 positions around the arena while the massive 200m2 video screen will beam animated graphics, more Crusty chronicles and live FMX action as the show delves into the history of one the most successful touring acts in the world – the Crusty Demons of Dirt.

The incredible rider line-up features some of the best FMX riders from around the globe and reunites the Australian public with arguably the biggest name in FMX, Mike Metzger.

The Crusty Demons legendary ringmaster and crash test dummy Bubba has already arrived in Australia to commence work with producers David Atkins and Ignatius Jones in creating the cutting edge video and animation features.

Acknowledging this tour was the biggest undertaken by the Crusty Demons, Bubba said the hype and anticipation was building amongst the riders.

“I’ve been doing the Crusty tour since the beginning and I am absolutely blown away by the new show plan,” Bubba said. “A brand spanking new show that is jam-packed full of the biggest stunts and craziest mayhem I’ve ever seen!

“The amount of rider talent we have lined up will be a world first. Not to mention the best live show producers in the world to kick it a couple of notches higher than we have ever been. It is safe to say that the Crusty Demons fans are in for one hell of a show. We are back in a big way.”

Headlined by Australia’s very own modern-day Evel Knievel Robbie Maddison, Thirst 4 Destruction sees the introduction of Australia’s first ever, female FMX rider Emma McFerran and the Crusty Demons’ youngest ever grommet, six-year-old Jasyn Roney.

This phenomenal show will also deliver world firsts in FMX tricks such as Robbie Maddison’s death defying ceiling drop in, Jackson Strong’s front flip and Kain Saul’s Harley Davidson back flip.
