Oz MX: Women's MX champion will win a trip to the USA

The winner of the Motul Pirelli Australian Women’s Motocross Championship will win a trip to the United States thanks to MX Holidays, with the championship first prize featuring a staggering value of over $9000.

Airfares and a 10-day trip to Orlando, Florida, courtesy of MX Holidays will give the winner the opportunity to sample American Motocross tracks, enjoying five days of intensive riding and training, while balanced with five days to visit the fun parks and tourist attractions in the area including Disney World and Daytona Beach.

Browns Grafix has ensured the podium place finishers will never forget the 2010 event with first through third place receiving a custom helmet paint job and a unique trophy.

Talisman Artisan Jewellery has created one off sterling silver necklaces commemorating the event for the top five. The top ten also receive Moving Comfort active apparel and the first 15 will be sporting sunglasses from Filtrate Eyewear.

Promoter Fiona Collins is ecstatic with the support shown towards the event.

“The interest shown in this year’s event is of an exceptionally high standard and is really going to set the benchmark for women’s racing in the future,” Collins said.

Supporting the championship racing is a complement of womens and junior girls classes as well as non gender specific Open and Lites classes, which also have substantial prizes.

More details of the championship are available on the event site www.wmxnationals.com.au. Entries for all classes are available on www.nominate.com.au (click the motorcycle tab).

Spectator entry to the event is $5 per adult with all proceeds being donated to the McGrath Foundation.

The Championship will be held on Sunday 24 October at the Albury Wodonga Motorcycle Club in Victoria.
