One of the greatest parts of being a moto-journalist is the travel, whether it be to races and events all over Australia or, in some cases, a trip or two per year overseas.

This week CycleOnline.com.au is on deck in the United States for a Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyre launch directly following the U.S. round of World Superbike at Miller Motorsports Park, and while we’re here, we’ll be sure to cover the sport in more ways then one.

So, what do we have planned, you may be wondering? Well, here’s a quick snapshot of what we’ve got on the To Do list for the next couple of weeks in both Utah and California.

• Follow Josh Waters in his WSBK wildcard. Set to make his second appearance of the year with Yoshimura Suzuki, we’ll document Waters’ race weekend at Miller.

• Catch up with Yoshimura USA’s Aussie crew chief Peter Doyle to find out how he’s going in the post-Mat Mladin era of AMA Supers.

• Go inside Waters’ WSBK-spec GSX-R1000 with a host of detailed images displaying his ultra-trick Suzuki built by Japanese powerhouse Yoshimura.

• Get the latest on the Aussie contingent. We’ll get the Inside Line on the likes of David Anthony, Jordy Burgess, Chris Trounson and Trent Gibbs as they take on the locals in the AMA Superbike Championship.

• Take an up close look at AMA Superbikes. Come with us to find out how the U.S. series and equipment differs to the ASBK.

• Test Pirelli’s new Diablo Rosso II tyres. It’s the reason we’re here, so learn all about the latest rubber from the Italian tyre manufacturer – official supplier of WSBK.

Plus, we’re hoping there will be that and much more. Stay tuned everybody, this is the trip we’ve been waiting for!
