Yamaha Motor Australia has announced an elite list of eight finalists from Australia and New Zealand who will compete in the 2011 Yamaha Oceania Motorcycle Technician Grand Prix.

The Oceania finalists named below earned their position in the final by attaining a high level of achievement in Yamaha Technical Academy training programs, completing an online qualifying exam and scoring the highest mark for their respective region.

The finals will take place in the Sydney office of Yamaha Motor Australia on Wednesday, 28 September 2011.

The Yamaha Motorcycle Technician GP pits the top Yamaha service technicians against each other to find out who is the best of the best.

The aim of the event is to recognise and motivate technicians to achieve the goal of exceeding customer after sales service expectations.

2009 Yamaha Oceania Motorcycle Technician Grand Prix winner Greg Dodt from Yamaha Country QLD will also attend to give support and advice to the eight Tech GP finalists.
