Casella confirmed for Silverstone World Supersport wild card

Triumph Australia/Aark Racing’s Christan Casella has scored a wild card ride at the Silverstone round of the Supersport World Championship on 29-31 July.
Casella will ride the Daytona 675R that he has been riding in Australian Supersport, setting the bike up for his WSS debut this month in the UK.
“I’m really stoked to be able to show the factory teams what I can do on the Daytona 675R,” Casella commented. “The bike is on its way over, and I arrive on the 23rd of July, the weekend before the race.
“We’ve done a lot of work setting up the Daytona to my liking and I’m confident that I can run with the leading pack.
“My only real concern is that I only get one practice session the Friday before the race, so it looks like I’m going to be cutting plenty of hot laps on my pushbike!”
Casella current sits fourth in the ASBK Supersport title chase with one round remaining.
