Rossi is excited to return to Brno, a site of many of his career milestones.

Ducati Marlboro’s Valentino Rossi is looking forward to heading to Brno this weekend as the MotoGP series re-commences after the mid season break, a circuit he very much enjoys and that has seen him achieve many milestones during his illustrious career.

“After Laguna I took a few days of vacation, at the beach close to home. It was a short break but enough to recharge the batteries following an intense period. Now we’ll spend a nice mid-August at Brno—classic!” said the Italian.

The Brno circuit is popular with many riders, due to its fast and flowing nature, combined with some fun elevation changes. The feeling is heightened for Rossi, as it is also the site of many of his great achievements.

“Seriously, I’m always happy to go there. I like the track not only because it’s very nice, wide and fast, and I’ve always gone well there, but also because it’s a special place for me since it’s where I earned my first pole, my first win and my first world championship,” Rossi commented.

Rossi and his team will continue the ever evolving mission of bike development this weekend and also stay at the circuit on Monday after the event, with the aim of getting the bike close to the point where Rossi can once again battle for wins.
