Scott Charlton made an impressive debut at round four of the FX Superbikes at WInton on the weekend, In his first outing on the BMW S1000rr, Charlton took a win in the first Saturday race, followed by two close seconds behind Kevin Curtain.

Sunday saw another solid day, qualifying on pole before finishing second in all three races, again behind Curtain.

“I am really looking forward to getting to a track where I can use all the power of the BMW,” Charlton commented after his debut on the machine.

“The bike ran perfectly all weekend with minimal adjustment to the suspension, I still can’t believe that this bike is straight out of the crate and the only engine performance enhancement is a exhaust pipe.”
