Yamaha to celebrate 50th anniversary of GP racing at Phillip Island

Riders, teams and fans alike are preparing themselves for a big celebration when Yamaha rolls out the red carpet for its 50th anniversary of Moto Grand Prix at Phillip Island on 14-16 October.

MotoGP fans who want to get up close and personal with stars like Lorenzo, Spies, Crutchlow and Edwards are advised that there are still VIP hospitality and Stars dinner tickets remaining, but act now to avoid disappointment.

Colin Edwards shoots from the hip and tells it like it is. Dare you miss one of his now legendary comic Stars Dinner performances?

Aussie road race identity and commentator Phil Harlum has accepted the role of host for the Stars Dinner on Friday night. Taking over from Ken Wootton will not be an easy task, but with a similarly encyclopaedic knowledge of road racing, Harlum is well placed to continue the good work.

Dare you miss the antics of Colin ‘Pit Girl Judge’ Edwards as he holds forth on the widest number of subjects imaginable? Anyone who witnessed his performance on stage at Silverstone during the British GP will not want to miss out on the Yamaha Stars Dinner at the Island. This is one rider who tells it like it is whether anyone likes it or not.

Why not join us for three days of fully catered corporate hospitality at our trackside suite, with the chance to meet Edwards and more Yamaha Moto GP stars? Tickets include indoor and grandstand seating, superscreen viewing and pitlane walks and cost just $840 inc GST each.

The VIP area is just a short stroll to the expo tent where you can check out some great new models from Yamaha.

The Stars Dinner cost is only $199… a snip considering the unique nature of the event. In previous years, insider information has been revealed that has never previously been discussed, so it is an opportunity for MotoGP fans to be the first to find out the full story.

Due to rider commitments YMA can’t guarantee rider attendance, but we highly recommend you take the opportunity to witness Edwards, Spies, Lorenzo and Crutchlow as you have never seen them before.

Price includes a three course dinner, soft drinks and photo opportunities with riders. Please visit http://www.yamaha- or call 1300 79 69 79 to sign up for one or both of these experiences.
