Star attractions at the Sydney Motorcycle & Scooter Show will be the all-new 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650, giving Sydneysiders their first glimpse at these highly-anticipated models.

Suzuki will showcase almost 50 models at the Show, covering its extensive range of street, cruiser, motocross, fun, enduro and adventure touring models, along with Errol Willis’ RM-Z250, fresh from the Australasian Supercross Championship circuit.

A star of the Suzuki stand and certainly of the entire Show, will be the all-new 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000, featuring the ultimate in class-mastering performance, cutting-edge technology, design and engineering.

An unsurpassed package, the 2012 GSX-R1000 is significantly lighter than its predecessors with improvements made across the whole machine for a more responsive ride and increased mid-range power and acceleration.

It now features a 4 into 1 exhaust system and a newly designed titanium muffler, which dramatically improves the machine’s agility and handling as a result of its lighter weight.

Joining their big brother on stand will be the all-new GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 in a range of colour schemes, bringing the powerful combination of exhilarating performance and striking looks to the streets.

All eyes at the Show will also be drawn to the latest generation Suzuki V-Strom 650, which has set a new benchmark in the adventure touring category, with an enhanced focus on rider comfort and features advanced technology from Suzuki.

The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 is a perfect fit for riders seeking a multipurpose machine as capable on the streets as it is on outback roads, with this go-anywhere adventure tourer offering extreme versatility to suit the Australian terrain and lifestyle.

Another show-stopping machine will be the aggressive 2012 Suzuki GSR750 street fighter, with its thrilling fusion of technology, fuel-injected performance and chiselled styling.

Bursting onto the Australian scene mere months ago, the GSR750 is ideal for city streets or weekend blasts as its combines a powerful engine and quality components, with strong angular lines across the whole machine.

The iconic Suzuki Hayabusa, Australia’s most popular, high-powered sports tourer motorcycle^ will also be on display, in its eye-catching 2012 Candy Red colour scheme.

A full range of Suzuki’s Boulevard cruisers, both classically and muscular styled, will also be on show including the 800cc Boulevard C50 and M50, through to the 1,800cc Boulevard M109RZ.

Suzuki’s off-road section will certainly be a prime destination for motocross enthusiasts, with the 2012 models of the fuel-injected RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 on display, featuring the latest in race-bred technology, functionality and design.

The Suzuki RMX450Z enduro racer will also on display, so too the 2012 RM85L, featuring the best of Suzuki’s race-bred technology in a pint-sized package.

An impressive display of Suzuki’s Learner Approved motorcycles, including the 2012 Intruder 250 cruiser and the user-friendly, classically-styled TU250X will also draw a crowd.

Completing Suzuki’s stand will be its range of fun bikes, including the QuadSport 50, DR-Z70 and JR80, with these big-on-fun and value-packed bikes the perfect way for youngsters to get onto two or four wheels with safety and style.

Suzuki dealers will be on stand right through the Sydney Motorcycle & Scooter Show to offer advice on motorcycles and accessories, Suzuki Finance, Suzuki Insurances and anything Suzuki related.
