Motorcycling Australia International Riders grants close this Friday

Applications for 2012 Motorcycling Australia (MA) International Riders grants close this Friday December 9.

Riders may apply for financial assistance grants of up to $5000 to compete in international competition/s in 2012.

Riders from all disciplines who are interested in applying for the grants must be competing in events from 1 January 2012 – 30 June 2012, and grant application forms are available from the MA website at www.ma.org.au/grants.

A second round of International Rider grants for the competition period of July 1 2012 – December 31 2012 will open in March 2012.

Applications will be accepted until COB Friday December 9, and completed forms should be sent by mail, fax or email to:

Applications will be assessed on criteria contained under the General Selection Policy found in Chapter 29 of MA’s 2011 Manual of Motorcycle Sport.

Results obtained in International meetings, Australian Championships and National level events will be taken into consideration when granting financial assistance.

In order to compete in international competitions, riders must hold a current FIM licence and insurance to the appropriate FIM standard.
