Dunlop GT501 Arrowmax to be spec tye of ASBK 250 Production

2012 will see the introduction of the new 250 Production class to ASBK. With the new class will come the introduction of one of the most popular bias 250 tyres on the market , the GT501 Arrowmax.

The GT501 Arrowmax is a bias construction sports tyre utilising a Kevlar belting construction. The GT501 Arrowmax is a popular choice for fitment for 250 to 400 machines globally due to its exceptional performance in all conditions and its high durability.

Dunlop National Motorcycle and Motorsport Manager, Ken Weiden said, “At Dunlop we are excited about the new 250 Production class. We believe that the GT501 Arrowmax is the right tyre for the job, which it has shown through its extensive use in European competition.

“The GT501 Arrowmax will provide for close and affordable racing in 2012”

A review will be conducted after round two of the 250 Production championship to investigate if there is a need to look at the bias race spec compound of the GT501 Arrowmax.

The 250 Production class will be kicking off with ASBK at the World Superbike round on 24-26 February.
