Snowsill lands Superstock 600 FIM Cup ride for 2012 season

Aussie young gun Corey Snowsill joins the growing list of local products plying their trade on foreign shores, signing on to ride in the 2012 European Superstock 600 Championship.

The Melbourne-raised, Sydney-based rider joins the MTM-Yamaha Team, replacing out-going star and 2011 series champion Jed Metcher, lining up alongside fellow Aussie Adrian Nestorovic.

At the tender age of 16, Snowsill will kin up with the Belgium-based outfit, eager to continue Australia’s love-affair with the World Superbike Championship Support Class.

Regarded as one of the most promising young Road Racers in Australia, Snowsill attended the 2011 MA-AIS Elite Rider Development Camp and impressed at the Australian Endurance Championship Phillip Island 8 Hour.
