The QBE Australian Superbike Championships race into 2013 with a fresh new identity.

The QBE Australian Superbike Championships have a new logo for 2013.

The QBE Australian Superbike Championships race into 2013 with a fresh new identity.

The logo builds on its predecessor to signify the ASBK brand as current and in keeping with the very latest motorcycle design trends.

The stylised rider and race bike represent speed, performance and progress, attributes which typify the ASBK and all of those involved.

QBE and Motul both return to the logo to signify their increased investment in the country’s premier motorcycle racing championship.

To compliment the new identity, an all-new interactive website will soon be launched in order to connect fans and sponsors to the sport like never before.

The visual changes are set to go hand-in-hand with a host of initiatives and improvements that will be released in the leadup to the series opener at Phillip Island in February.

Yarrive Konsky, director of championship promoter International Entertainment Group (IEG), said 2013 held plenty of promise for the sport and felt the new identity fit well with the ambitions that the ASBK has set out to achieve.

“We’re excited to reveal the ASBK’s new identity, one that represents change and progress in what is an integral time for the sport’s development,” said Konsky.

“We are entering our fourth year at the helm of the ASBK and will set about implementing various changes to make the sport better for competitors, sponsors and fans.

“We are thankful for the consistent support and increased investment from our major sponsors, QBE and Motul, who take pride of place in the new branding.

“Australia continues to produce some of the greatest road race talent in the world and we cannot wait to showcase this to our ever-growing local fanbase.”
