The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will maintain its current 17-19 October date in 2014, according to the FIM’s updated MotoGP World Championship calendar.

Phillip Island was initially penciled in to be held a week later next year as the third of the traditional fly-away races, however it’s now become the second.

The Japanese GP will replace the previously-announced Malaysian round on 10-12 October, before the series heads across to Phillip Island.

Meanwhile, the Sepang event will conclude the trio of events on 24-26 October, which was the date originally scheduled for Australia.

They are the lone updates on the calendar as of today’s update.
